Dear Birth Mother,
"When I found out I was pregnant again I was speechless. I had no idea what I was going to do. Knowing I already have two kids at the age of 19, and I couldn’t imagine taking on a third. Knowing I am not financially or physically stable and want the best for the baby. I spent several nights crying asking God, what should I do? So many emotions ran through me. The strongest at the time was anger. Anger, at myself for having to make this decision, anger, at God for allowing me to make this decision. But, as time went by those feelings have begun to fade away and a much stronger emotion took place of the anger. And, that was LOVE, the love I felt when I found out I was having a boy was amazing and so strong, but in my heart I knew I couldn’t give him the life that He deserved . Two wonderful people through Adopt Triad had come into my life. They will be able to provide him with so much love he will be able to attend college, get a great job and someday marry the girl of his dreams. I know he will have an amazing family and I know I will be a part of his life. You see, Just as you. I chose to give him life, and along with that came unconditional love, I loved him so much that why I had made the decision to allow someone so beautiful , someone so innocent to have the change to have a wonderful life. There are so many people that judge, but no one knows the burdens that you heart bears. No one has the right except God, and although you may not have a lot of faith you will come to see that our God is a ver understanding God. God loved us so much that he gave us his only son. You may feel like your along, but always know that you’re wonderful and loved. Know there are so many other people that may be in the same situation. Eventually the hurt and anger does fade. The love of your child will remain in your heart, no matter the distance or days and weeks and years that separate the tow of you love is an emotion that will never fade. It will only become stronger, Is so glad I get to bless a family that could not have children of their own. I know they will love this child and give him an amazing life. I will always love him no matter what."
Pregnant, considering adoption?
This is a very confusing and difficult time for you. You may be feeling scared, confused, and alone. So first, let us say Adopt Triad Consultants, Inc. is here to support you in any decision you make; to make an adoption plan or to parent your child. Let's begin with what is adoption all about? Adoption is made up of three areas that you must think of first: open, semi open or closed adoption. We can assist you in finding the right family that fits your adoption plan. Our families have already completed sixteen hours of classes that include nine hours of face-to-face interviews. These families have had background checks and are approved by our agency as a safe placement for your child, should you desire to follow that path.
You will be offered confidential FREE counseling for as long as you need, FREE legal counsel, FREE life coaching, and FREE adoption support.
Why choose adoption? We could not say it better than one of our birth mothers,
“Adoption isn’t a birthmothers rejection but an unconditional love that inspires
her to put herself last and do all she can for her baby!!” BM Gayle.
Process: We begin with intake, as we need to get to know you and your wishes.
We gather a lot of information about you and also teach you all of your rights so that you
walk this road with the knowledge you need to make the best decision. We then will
present families to you. After choosing a family you get to meet them. Then your
relationship with them begins. Or if you choose closed adoption, you have peace in
knowing you choose the family for your child. After birth, your child goes to the family
you choose and you go home. You have four business days to make your final decision
before your legal documents are filed. Once filed, your rights will be terminated in a matter
of days or in some cases weeks.
Counseling - The state of Colorado mandates that you receive four hours of
relinquishment counseling, but we do not stop there. We will provide as much counseling as you need, for as long as you need it.
Our therapists on staff have their Master's degrees in psychology and in Social Work. You will also have your own birth mother case aide. This young lady
is here to help you in your daily affairs, such as doctors appointments.
Legal Counsel - Our agency has on retainer attorneys, Seth Grobb, LLC
and Tim Eirich, LLC of Grobb and Eirick, LLC 12596 w. Bayaud Avenue,
#390. Lakewood, Colorado 80228, (303-679-8266). They have over twenty years of experience
in adoption and family law. They know and understand how to relinquish your parental
rights, and the rights of the birth father.
Life coaching - One of the first things that will happen when you begin your adoption journey will be that you will meet with our adoption therapist, and
a birth mother case aide. At this appointment, the adoption process will be explained to you. You will leave understanding your rights and will have an adoption plan. A case aide will be assigned to you to help support you throughout the process. We will help you make a plan for your child, and we will support you in making a plan for yourself. What do you want to do after your adoption, go to school, to work? Your case aide will help you reach those goals.
Financial Assistance - Adopt Triad Consultants, Inc. is here to assist you with pregnancy related expenses. We will help you find what resources you may be eligible to receive such as medical insurance, assistance in living arrangements, WIC, parenting classes, daycare assistance, etc.
Adoption support - One of the biggest worries for a birth mother is what about after the adoption, what about me? Adopt Triad Consultants, Inc. prides itself on the fact that we do not have a limited amount of hours to spend with you. We will be there for you as long as you need.
